Obituaries

Virginia Lee Black LaSalla, age 77, of 2202 Drive Inn Road, Lincolnton died Friday, November 20, 2015.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 23, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Shoffner officiating.

Mrs. LaSalla was born on January 22, 1938 and was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Sandman Black.  She worked as a waitress.

Survivors are her husband, Joseph LaSalla of the home; one son, Thomas Carrol of Boyertown, PA; six daughters, Rosanne Mount of East Norriston PA, Joann Mullen of Roxborough , CO, Katie Claus of Lincolnton, Margaret Poole of Vera Beach, FL, Marianne Powers of Chester, VA and Josephine Messmahl of Sarasota, FL; one brother, William Black of Mountain View, AR;  fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
