Mrs. Edith Ewing Lemmond, age 93, of Lincolnton died Saturday, November 21, 2015.
Her funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Monday at Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Spencer and Rev. J.V. Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Monday prior to the service at Asbury United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Lemmond was born on March 11, 1922 and was the daughter of the late Walter and Daisy Abernethy Ewing. She was retired from the textile industry.
Survivors are her husband of 64 years, A.J. Lemmond, Jr. of the home and her niece, Billie Buff of Lincolnton.
Memorials may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, 3097 Asbury Church Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
