Mary Edith Lynch Varalli

Mrs. Mary “Edith” Lynch Varalli, age 94, of 1114 Long Shoals Road in Lincolnton, died on Friday, November 27, 2015.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Landers Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Gerald Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45pm pm on Monday prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Varalli was born March 26, 1921 in Gaston County to the late Polie Anderson and Annie Mae Alexander Lynch. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Varalli, Jr.; one son, Donald J. Varalli one brother, Glenn Alexander Lynch; three sisters, Margaret L. Quinn, Betty Faye Mosteller and Louise Lynch. She was retired from manufacturing. Mrs. Varalli was a lifelong member of Landers Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, John A. “Buddy” Varalli, III, and wife Cathy of Lincolnton; one daughter-in-law, Barbara Varalli of Clover, SC; six grandchildren, Jodie Varalli, Gina Johnson, Jeff Varalli, Julie Varalli-Breedlove, Donna Varalli and Jonathan Varalli; 14 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Gaston County, 258 E Garrison Blvd, Gastonia, NC 28054.
