Charles Hoyle Kennedy

Charles Hoyle Kennedy, age 78, of Lincolnton died Friday, December 4, 2015.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Warlick Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Philadelphia United Methodist Church Cemetery in Fort Mill, SC with Rev. Doug McLean officiating.
Mr. Kennedy was born January 20, 1937 and was the son of the late Hoyle Bert Kennedy and Juanita “Ruby” Trout Kennedy. He was also preceded in death by a son, Scotty Kennedy. He was a Mason. Mr. Kennedy worked at Duke Power, left for a period of time to work at Cape Kennedy in Florida and returned to Duke Energy where he retired.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Mingus Kennedy of the home; one son, Gary Brent Kennedy of Trion, GA; one daughter, Dina Kennedy Thigpen of Suwanee, GA; and five grandchildren.
