Obituaries

Mr. Marvin Everette Pound, age 75, of 2610 Prince Drive in Lincolnton, died on Saturday, December 12, 2015.

His funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Devine officiating. A private burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 3:45 pm on Wednesday at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mr. Pound was born November 24, 1940, in Calhoun County, South Carolina to the late Marvin and Vera Zeigler Pound.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Verdin Pound and one brother Ted Pound.   He was retired from Burlington Textiles.

Survivors include one son, Greg Pound and wife Kendy of Lincolnton; two granddaughters, Addyson Pound and Lyndsi Pound; one sister, Jane Inabinet and husband John of Orangeburg, SC.
