Edith Lee Kiser Devine, age 98, of 3281 Loop Road in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, December 13, 2015.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2015, at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Barron W. Lee officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Devine was born September 22, 1917, in Gaston County, to the late Jonas Sylvanis and Mary Minnie Mauney Kiser. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Chesley Rand Devine, brothers Doyle, Lewis, George, Fred, Fay, David, and Paul Kiser, and sisters Pauline Martin and Bertha Goodson. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Loy Devine of Statesville, and Blair Devine and wife Judy of Lincolnton; two grandsons, Trevor Devine and wife Ginny of Statesville, and Shawn Devine of Lawrenceville, GA; and two great-grandchildren, Zoe and Jack Devine.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
