Obituaries

Delmus Wayne Cooper, age 71, of 984 Hulls Grove Church Road, Vale, NC died Thursday, December 17, 2015.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Redding officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Cooper was born August 31, 1944 and was the son of the late J. D. and Ruth Lay Cooper.  He was retired as a dispatcher in the trucking industry.

Mr. Cooper is survived by his wife, Sydelia Abernathy Cooper of the home; one son, Tim Cooper of Lincolnton and one grandson, Joshua Wayne Cooper of Lincolnton.
