Mr. John William Howard, age 71, of 111 Camper Paradise Way in Cosby, TN, died on Tuesday, December 22, 2015.
Mr. Howard was born January 31, 1944, in Greenville, South Carolina, to the late George Daniel Howard and Ellen Pruitt Turner. He served in the United States Army and then later worked in textiles.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Grant Howard of Lincolnton; three daughters, Beverly Simmons and husband Barry, Connie Carpenter and husband Tony, and Sandra Lockridge and husband Chuck, all of Lincolnton; two brothers, Robert Howard of York, SC, and Roy McGraw of Cosby, TN; three sisters, Mollie Howard of Cosby, TN, Marsha Yingling of Lincolnton, and Norma Howard of Cosby, TN; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the charity of one’s choice.
