Wayne Finger

Wayne Finger, age 88, of Lincolnton, died on Sunday, December 27, 2015.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Stanley Spence officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
Mr. Finger was born May 5, 1927, in Lincoln County, to the late W.A. and Mamie Hull Finger. He served in the United States Navy during World War II, the Korean Conflict, and then later was an accountant for Seth Lumber Company and Howard Construction.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Marshall Finger of the home; one son, George Finger, and wife Susie, of Houston, TX; two daughters, Carmel White, and Beverly Smith, and husband Terry, all of Lincolnton; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 201 Robin Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092, or to the Lincolnton Rotary Club Student Loan Fund.
