Lavada Sherrill Alexander, age 84, of 515 S. Generals Blvd. in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, December 29, 2015.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Alexander was born December 20, 1931, in Iredell County, to the late Frederick and Maddie Russ Sherrill. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Alexander. She worked in banking.
She is survived by two sons, Darryl Belcher of Lincolnton and Mark Belcher of Huntersville; one daughter, Robin Belcher of Huntersville; one sister, Cornelia Eagle of Mooresville; and five grand-dogs.
