Anthony Charles "Chuck" Austin

Mr. Anthony Charles “Chuck” Austin, age 52, of Hoffman Road Lincolnton, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016.
Funeral services will be held 3:00pm Monday, January 18, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Austin was the son of Rachel Self Austin and the late James M. Austin. He was the owner of Austin Backhoe Service. He was also preceded in death by one half-brother, James Randall Austin.
Survivors include: one son, Jonathan Charles Austin and wife Kelly of Lincolnton; one daughter, Haley Marie Chapman and husband Landon of Wasilla, Alaska; mother, Rachel Self Austin of Lincolnton; one brother, Dr. Steven Austin and fiancé Shannon of Lincolnton; one sister, Amy Redmond and husband Steve of Charlotte; three grandchildren, Ella and Emma Chapman and Dillon Charles Austin; special friend, Beverly Rinck of Lincolnton; one half-brother, David Austin of Lincolnton; two half-sisters, Gwen Wells and Jovi Reis of Asheville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Lincoln County, P.O. Box 23, Lincolnton, N.C. 28093, or to the Jim Austin Scholarship Fund, c/o of Lincoln County Homebuilders Association, P.O. Box 792, Lincolnton, N.C. 28093.
