Freddy Eugene McDonald

Freddy Eugene McDonald, age 70, of 2628 Southside Road in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, February 9, 2016.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. McDonald was born January 1, 1946, in Rutherford County, to the late Fred Jack and Iva Allen McDonald. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Sandra Smith McDonald, and a granddaughter Chelsea Page. He worked as a machine fixer in textiles.
He is survived by a daughter, Lorie Page of Lincolnton; a son, Brian McDonald of Lincolnton; a brother, Ray McDonald of Vera Beach, FL; two sisters, Cathy Stone of Lincolnton and Jeanette Keeter of Forest City; eight grandchildren, Jeffrey Smith, Brandy Davis, Tiffani McDonald, Tyler McDonald, Jayden Smith, Kevin Cody, Michael Reinhardt, and Cassidy Stamey; seven great-grandchildren; and special friend, Deann Griffin.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
