Alice Faye Owens Lamberth
( June 28, 1939 - February 17, 2016 )
Alice Faye Owens Lamberth, age 76, of 2595 Southmont Road in Iron Station, died on Wednesday, February 17, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Spirit Life Church of God with Bishop Carl Fosdick officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 11:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Lamberth was born June 28, 1939, in Gaston County, to the late Price Edward and Mildred Naomi Carver Owens. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother Wylie Lee Owens, two grandchildren Daniel Lee McCaslin and Tisa Michelle Dellinger, a great-granddaughter Payton Michelle Dellinger, and a daughter-in-law Sherry Bowers Lamberth.
She is survived by her husband, Richard James Lamberth, Sr. of the home; two sons, Rick Lamberth (Joyce) of Iron Station, and Gary Allen Lamberth of Maiden; four daughters, Mary Jane McCaslin (Dennis) of Newton, Amy Lynn Barkley (Stanley) of Maiden, Pamela Lamberth Eaton (Robby) Maiden, and Phyllis Strickland of Lincolnton; four brothers, Thomas Owens of Clover, SC, Ronnie Owens of Rock Hill, SC, Joey LaMaster of Gastonia, and Johnny Owens of Clover, SC; two sisters, Brenda Lawing of Charlotte and Patricia Houston of Clover, SC; nine grandchildren, Helen Faye Lamberth, James Paul Lamberth, Christopher Allen Lamberth (Meghan Nicole), Brandon Travis Lamberth, Brandy Nicole McCasland (Mitch), Kayla Michelle Arwood, Christen Taylor Barkley, Todd Daniel Eaton, and Joshua Shane Strickland; and three great-grandchildren, Jordan Lunceford, Kaelyn Ardnt, and Justin Daniel Anderson.
The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregiver, Loandra Salamanca.
