Wanda LaBelle Hicks White

Wanda LaBelle Hicks White, age 67, of Vale, died on Monday, February 22, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Hull officiating. Burial will take place in the White Mountain Cemetery in Richlands, Virginia at a later date. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 6:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. White was born July 11, 1948 in McDowell County, West Virginia, to the late Virgil and Etta Brewster Hicks. She worked as an LPN.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas White of the home; two sons, Bryan White of Iron Station and Christopher T. White of Lawndale; and three grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092, or to Jeff Gordon Childrens Hospital, c/o Northeast Foundation, 920 Church Street, North, Concord, NC 28025.
