Mary Franklin Propst

Mary Franklin Propst, age 82, of 711 Upper Spencer Mountain Road in Stanley, died on Wednesday, February 24, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 29, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Propst was born October 19, 1933, in Catawba County, to the late Frank Edward and Flossie Lingerfelft Franklin. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband George William Propst, a brother Coy Franklin, and two sisters Rosie Faulkner and Kitty Smith.
She is survived by two sons, Warren Propst of Stanley and Perry Propst of Lincolnton; one daughter, Patricia Flowers of Alexis; four brothers, David Franklin of High Shoals, Kent Franklin of Lincolnton, Lloyd Franklin of Stanley, and Benny Franklin of Lincolnton; one sister, Gussie M. Bolick of Taylorsville; one grandson; and three great-grandchildren.
