Mary Frances Stallings Sloop

Mrs. Mary Frances Stallings Sloop, age 72 of Maiden, died on Tuesday, March 15, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2016 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Louis Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 pm Thursday prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sloop was born August 29, 1943 in Cabarrus County to the late Malcolm and Essie Florence Bradley Stallings. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard “Buck” Stallings and Jack Stallings; two sisters, Helen Lail and Bernice Freeman. Mrs. Sloop had retired from secretarial work.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Howard Wayne Sloop, Sr., of the home; one son, Howard Wayne Sloop, Jr. of Maiden; one daughter, Catherine Lynn Cloer and husband John of Memphis, TN; two granddaughters, Druanna Sloop and Freya Sloop.
