Emogene Houser

Emogene “Maxine” Shull Houser, age 73, of 2176 Sam Houser Road in Vale, died on Wednesday, March 23, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Reeps Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Travis Alshouse officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Houser was born September 21, 1942, in Lincoln County, to the late Argus Leonard and Lois Sain Shull. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Bill J. Houser of the home; a daughter, Leisa Houser of the home; a brother, Leonard Shull, and wife Marlene, of Hudson; a sister, Carolyn Shull Elliott of Newton; and numerous cousins.
Memorials may be made to Reeps Grove United Methodist Church, 7401 Reeps Grove Church Road, Vale, NC 28168.
