Obituaries

Lillian Saine Smith, age 81, of 4324 Banoak Road, Vale died Saturday, March 26, 2016.

Her funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Reeps Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Lynn officiating. Her body will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith was born on April 11, 1934 and was the daughter of the late John Wesley and Leslie Prue Saine.  She was the co-owner of Smith Broom Works.

Survivors are her husband, Buddy “Bud” Smith of the home; one son, Ahren Smith and wife, Shelley of Vale; one sister, Marie Clark and husband, Wayne of Vale; two brothers, Kenneth Saine  and  wife, Alta of Vale and Max Saine  and wife, Elaine of Vale; one brother-in-law, Virgil Smith of Vale; one sister-in-law, Kay Ball of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Morgan and Zackary Smith of Vale.
