Lottie Morgan Pitman

Lottie Morgan Pitman, age 67, of 978 Sain Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, April 4, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Leonard’s Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Jaie Warlick officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Pitman was born June 30, 1948, in Mecklenburg County, to the late John Thomas and Mamie Saunders Morgan. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Durant Morgan, and a grandson, Grant Alexander Pitman. She was a switchboard operator at Gaston Memorial Hospital for fifteen years.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Lee Pitman of the home; two daughters, Darlene Cook, and husband Rickie, and Bonnie Harris, all of Lincolnton; two sons, Fred Pitman, and wife Teresa, of Vale, and Mack Pitman of Lincolnton; one sister, Glenda Morgan Rose, and husband Troy, of Lincolnton; eleven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
