Obituaries

Mrs. Ruby Sherrill Caldwell beloved mother, grandmother ,great grandmother and sister age 93 of Cardinal Care died on April 12, 2016.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Thursday April 14, 2016 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Mike Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Thompson Evangelical Methodist Cemetery in Denver. The family will receive friends on Thursday at Warlick Funeral Home from 12:00pm until 12:45pm prior to the service.

Mrs. Caldwell was born in Lincoln County on May 23, 1922 ,she was the daughter of the late Houston and Lottie Helton Sherrill. She was preceded in death by three siblings Nancy, Griffin, and Monroe Sherrill, and three grandsons Jeffery, Curtis McConnell and Joseph Thomas Caldwell. She was a retired textile worker.

Survivors include: two sons Danny Joe Caldwell of Goose Creek S.C. and Thomas Caldwell Jr. of Maiden ; one daughter Carolyn Caldwell McConnell of Belmont; two sisters Mrs. Dorothy Schronce  and Mrs. Lois Bean ; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
