Vergie Mae Hester Yarbrough

Vergie Mae Hester Yarbrough, age 88, of 170 Hoffman Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, May 16, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Joey Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Hester Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Ms. Yarbrough was born September 14, 1927, in Gaston County, to the late John and Ester Liggins Hester. She was the oldest girl in her family that consisted of seven sisters, (including herself), and four brothers. She was a loving mother, daughter, and grandmother loved by all who knew her as she left her mark on so many lives and hearts. She will be greatly missed, but will never be far as she is forever in our hearts.
She is survived by her four children, Fannie McGinnis, Carol Kiser, Tommie Yarbrough, and Ricky Yarbrough. She had ten grandchildren, Rusty, LaDonna, Belinda, RobiLeah, Corie, Anna, Terry Jr., Kimberly, Karen, and Ricky Jr. Miss Vergie also had seven great-grandsons; five great-granddaughters; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
