Charles Larry Mullinax

Charles Larry Mullinax, age 65, of 7071 Dan Rhyne Road in Vale, died on Friday, May 20, 2016.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, 2016, at the home of Cindy and Kenneth Shull, 1695 Northbrook #3 School Road in Vale. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Mullinax was born September 10, 1950, in Buncombe County, to Annie Mae Pegg Mullinax and the late Gilbert Marion Mullinax. He worked as a painter for Turner-Baxter. Mr. Mullinax was a loving husband and father, and was an ultralight pilot who loved flying, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Morgan Mullinax of the home; two daughters, Cindy Shull, and husband Kenneth, and Vickie Bivens, all of Vale; his mother, Annie Mae Pegg Mullinax; two sisters, Jean Ann Simpson, and husband Daniel, of Stanley, and JoAnn Shelton and husband Doyle of Weaverville; four grandchildren, Lora Shull, Kendra Shull, Larry Bivens, and Devin Bivens; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
