Joey Alton Rash

Joey Alton Rash, age 60, of Gates Road in Lincolnton, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2016. He was attended in death by Karen Osborne and Cheryl Holly Bradley.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Hollybrook Cemetery with Rev. Charles Ingle officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Rash was born September 9, 1955, in Lincoln County, to the late Edward Lee and Thyleen Novella Broome Rash. Joey enjoyed NASCAR and golf. He was a skilled carpenter and mason.
He is survived by two daughter, Crystal Faulkner of Cherryville and Michelle Holly Matthews of Morehead City; sister, Karen Osborne of Lincolnton; and brothers, Mike Rash of Auburndale, FL and Ray Hedrick of Newton. He has six grandchildren; seven nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews.
