Laura McConnell Grice

Laura McConnell Grice, age 91, of Cardinal Care, died on Thursday, June 9, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2016, at Boger City Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Bigham and Rev. Robert Redding officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Grice was born November 13, 1924, in Lincoln County, to the late Ezelle and Mattie McAlister McConnell. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Wilson Grice, a sister, Frances McConnell, and a brother, Grady McConnell. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Michael Grice, and wife Judi of Lincolnton; a daughter, JoAnn Dellinger, and husband Doug, of Dallas; and a brother, Louis McConnell of Lincolnton; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, for Robin Johnson Hospice House, 258 E. Garrison Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28054.
