Obituaries

Ted Sain, age 78, of 3568 Asbury Church Road, Lincolnton died Saturday, June 11, 2016.

His funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2016  at Boger City Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Bigham and Dr. Robert Wise officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mr. Sain was born July 24, 1937 and was the son of the late Austin and Mary Clark Sain.  He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ken Sain and Bill Sain and one sister, Gene Schrum.  Mr. Sain retired as a supervisor with Vermont American.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Saine of the home; one son, Scott Saine and wife, Joy of Lincolnton; one daughter, Kim Saine McQueen and husband, Dan of Rock Hill, SC; one brother, Gerald Sain and wife, Maxine of Lincolnton; five grandchildren, Will Saine and wife, Lindsey, Melissa Saine, Michaela Setzer, Tanner Setzer and Ty Setzer; one great granddaughter, Avery Estelle Saine; two step grandchildren, Jacob McQueen and Kathryn Williams; two step great grandchildren, Kayden Williams and Seanna Williams.
