Bessie Painter Beal
( December 13, 1940 - June 15, 2016 )
Bessie Painter Beal, age 75, of 1161 Birkdale Lane in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, June 15, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 20, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bud Painter officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 3:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Beal was born December 13, 1940, in Lincoln County, to the late Guy Clinton and Mattie Richards Painter. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Beal, Jr., and three brothers, Harry, Larry, and Ervin Painter.
She is survived by two sons, Dale Beal (Margaret) and Randy Beal (Alexis), all of Lincolnton; two daughters, Sandy Hartley (Keith) of Lenoir and Annette Beal of Lincolnton; three sisters, Margaret Painter of Maiden, Carolyn Avery of Lincolnton, and Brenda Fox (Buddy) of Lincolnton; one brother, William Painter (Diane) of Lincolnton; eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092, or to the Alzheimer’s Disease & Related Disorders Association, 3800 Shamrock Drive, Suite 999, Charlotte, NC 28215.
