Brenda Dianne Goode Stamey

Brenda Dianne Goode Stamey, age 68, of 766 Mace Lane in Lincolnton, died on Monday, June 27, 2016.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at Riverview Baptist Church with Pastor Ricky Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Stamey was born October 15, 1947, in Rutherford County, to Ralph Goode and the late Christine Williams Goode. In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by a son Gary Shires, and a sister Cynthia Yelton. She worked for Rhyne Mills.
She is survived by her husband, Lee Stamey of the home; her father, Ralph Goode of Forest City; two sons, Timothy Shires of Lincolnton and Eric Shires of the home; two brothers, Mike Goode of Tennessee and Scott Goode of Forest City; two sisters, Teresa Harris of Lincolnton and Connie Hendrix of Rutherfordton; five grandchildren, Amber Shires, Candis Shires, Caleb Shires, Brittany Shires, and Devine Shires; and seven great-grandchildren.
