Phillip Alan Parrish
( August 7, 1948 - June 30, 2016 )
Phillip Alan Parrish, age 67, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016. He resided in the home with Lisa Parrish and Stan Shull for the last year.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Morrell officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Parrish was born August 7, 1948, in Chatham County, to the late George and Irene Williams Parrish. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Dereck Alan Parrish. He retired from Duke Energy after 41 years of service.
He is survived by a son, Joshua Parrish of Denver; three daughters, Pamela Dawn King and Tiffany Nicole Hill, both of Lexington, and Hailey Nicole Drum of Statesville; one brother, Jerry Parrish of High Point; one sister, Doreen Tabayoyon of Olivia, NC; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
We would like to thank the staff of Community Home Care and Hospice of Statesville for all the wonderful care they provided for our father, especially Cherish Lewis, Jessica Craft, and Natalie Pearce.
