Myrtle Brown Hilton

Myrtle Brown Hilton, age 76, of 5395 Highway 182 in Cherryville, died on Sunday, July 3, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Lail officiating. Burial will follow in the North Brook Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:15 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Myrtle was born May 13, 1940, in Madison County, to the late Berlin and Maude Sharp Brown. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Frank Brown. She worked as a cosmetologist, caregiver, and homemaker.
She is survived by a son, John Albert Hilton, Jr., of Kings Mountain; a daughter, Rebecca Church, and husband Brad, of Stony Point, a brother, John Daniel “J.D.” Brown, and wife Janet, of Fairview; a sister, Wanda Trull, and husband Jeter, of Candler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
