William Judson Hardin

William Judson Hardin, “The Coffee Man”, age 91, of Asbury Church Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, July 4, 2016.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2016, at Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Hardin was born September 13, 1924, in Cleveland County, to the late Vassure Judson and Vinnie Louise Beam Hardin. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Putnam Hardin. He worked as a salesman for Standard Coffee.
He is survived by a son, William David Hardin, and wife Brenda, of Lincolnton; a brother, James Monroe Hardin of Shelby; a sister, Martha Sue Parker of Charlotte; two grandchildren, David Bradley Hardin, and wife Kellie, and Michael Chase Hardin, and wife Katie, all of Lincolnton; and three great-grandchildren, Noah and Brooks Hardin, and Vivienne Hardin.
