Julius Loyd Dellinger

Julius “Bud” Loyd Dellinger, age 80, of 1907 Highway 150 West, in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, August 11, 2016.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jaie Warlick officiating. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8;00 p.m. on Monday, August 15, 2016, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Dellinger was born June 18, 1936, in Lincoln County, to the late Charles Evan and Nannie Ledford Dellinger. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Teddy Dellinger, two brothers, Charles Ray Dellinger and Jack Dellinger, and two sisters, Mary Jane Dellinger and Jeanette Wilson. He worked as a truck driver for Carolina Freight Carriers, and was a Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Abernathy Dellinger of the home.
Memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice for Robin Johnson Hospice House, 258 E. Garrison Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28054.
