Sarah Virginia Brooks Jenkins, age 54, of 3106 Startown Road in Lincolnton, died on Saturday, August 20, 2016.

Her funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Jenkins officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:15 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Sarah was born December 3, 1961, to the late Joseph Matthew and Vetta Grey Benfield Brooks. She worked as a CNA.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Jenkins of the home; two sisters, Jane Jordan and Linda Smith, both of Lincolnton and numerous nieces and nephews.
