Kyle William Garver
( April 12, 1996 - August 10, 2016 )
Kyle William Garver, age 20, of 3141 Laboratory Road in Lincolnton died on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 along with his mother, Tonya Lewis Curtis in an automobile accident in Georgia.
Their funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at New Vision Ministries with Pastor Walter Odum and Pastor Michael White officiating. Burial will follow in Gainsville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Kyle was born April 12, 1996, in Gaston County to Todd Garver and the late Tonya Lewis Curtis. He worked as a grill cook at Boss Hogg BBQ Restaurant and also in the family business, Curtis Upholstery. In addition to working two jobs, he was attending Gaston College.
Survivors include his father, Todd Garver of Lincolnton; stepfather, Jerry Curtis of the home; three brothers, Cole Curtis, Austin Curtis and Jaden Curtis of the home; one sister, Gracie Mae Curtis of the home; paternal grandmother, Martha Garver of Lincolnton; maternal grandmother, Benita Orr Conway of Lincolnton; maternal grandparents, Lamar and Brenda Lewis of Pumpkin Center; paternal step-grandparents Don and Frances Curtis of Lincolnton; maternal great-grandparents, Dorothy and John Rogers of Robbinsville, NC; aunt and uncles, Todd Lewis and Michelle, Kenny Curtis and wife Sandy, Darby Price and wife Michelle; Tabatha Lewis Lloyd, Douglas Lloyd, Jamie Price Keller, Tammy Baker and husband Lee, Karen Nance and husband Scott, Regina Gee and husband Manuel; numerous cousins; and longtime girlfriend, Evelyn Smith of Lincolnton.
