Linda Jane Brooks Clayton

Linda Jane Brooks Clayton, age 68, of 6667 Bob White Trail in Stanley, died on Tuesday, August 30, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2016, at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Clayton was born February 28, 1948, in Roberson County, NC, to the late William and Dalcedia Locklear Brooks. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Clayton, and a sister, Helen Jones. She was the owner of Commercial Maintenance Specialist.
She is survived by a son, Hap Clayton, and wife Angie, of Stanley; a brother, William Brooks of Maxton; four sisters, Elizabeth Jones of Maxton, Judy Sanderson and Betty Davis, both of Maxton, and Carry Tietz of California; and two grandchildren, Reid Clayton and Luke Clayton, both of Stanley
