Coy Otha Jones, Sr.
( January 12, 1934 - September 1, 2016 )
Mr. Coy Otha Jones, Sr., age 82, of 446 S. Generals Blvd. in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, September 1, 2016.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Jenkins officiating. His body will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Jones was born January 12, 1934, in Lincoln County, to the late John Bunyon and Elsie Craig Jones. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Bingham Jones and one brother, William Cleo “Toe” Jones.
Survivors include two sons, Ricky Baker and wife Debbie of Vale, Coy Jones Jr., and wife Trish of the home; four daughters, Kathey Henderson and husband Chris of Iron Station, Debbie Feimster and husband Darrell of Newton, Norma Crump and husband Mike of Lincolnton, Rita Bare and husband Randy of Lexington, NC; eleven grandchildren, Kristina Parris and husband Matt, Brittany Mosteller and husband Jake, Tana Saunders, Heather Cunanan, Crystal Garrett and husband Brandon, Jason Martin, Bridgett Bare, Stacey Caudill and husband Andrew, Chasity Rosario and husband Yeisson, Chandra Jones and Coy Otha Jones, III “Trey”; fifteen great grandchildren
