Arthur Joseph White

Arthur Joseph White, age 76, of 162 Masspoag Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, September 5, 2016.
His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. White was born July 17, 1940, in Fairmont, WV, to the late Jacob and Emma Sanders White. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Arthur J. White, II. He served in the United States Army and then later worked as a crane operator for Republic Steel.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Glover White of the home; two daughters, Renee White and Lori Ballard, both of Lincolnton; three brothers, Bob White of Ohio, Billy Thompson and Tommy Thompson, both of West Virginia; and two sisters, Nancy Uphold of Maryland and Jackie Walker of West Virginia.
