Milton Grady Crowell

Mr. Milton Grady Crowell, age 89, of Cornelius, died on Tuesday, September 13, 2016.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton. A private burial will take place at a later date.
Mr. Crowell was born December 9, 1926 in Lincoln County to the late Henry Grady and Naomi Ensor Crowell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lillian Crowell Varner. Mr. Crowell was a retired CPA and was a veteran of the US Naval Air Corp. He was a past member of the Charlotte Optimist Club and a member of the Lincolnton Lions Club and the Davidson Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Berry Crowell of the home, three stepdaughters, Janice Livingston of Florida, Peggy Hoke and husband Rick of Mooresville and Carol Erwin of Cornelius; brother-in-law, William Varner, Jr.; niece Rosemary Prouty and husband Pete, and nephew, William Varner, III and wife Linda; seven grandsons and eight great-grandchildren.
