Alva Colene Bolick Moore

Alva Colene Bolick Moore, age 87, of Salem Church Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, September 15, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rick Crouse and Pastor Ashley Crouse officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Moore was born May 21, 1929, in Catawba County, to the late William J. and Ida Bumgardner Bolick. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded by her husband, L.V. Moore, and two granddaughters, Summer Maureen Riley and Kelly Spring Riley. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Sue Riley of Rutherfordton and Sharon McSwain Bradley of Lincolnton; two sisters, Cozette LaFone of Maryland and Shirley Harrill of Lincolnton; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
