Sherry Lynn Loftin, age 52, of 4483 E. Highway 150 in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, September 21, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Donald Cline officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Sherry was born February 27, 1964, in Lincoln County, to Fate Morgan Loftin, Jr. and the late Betty Jo Goodson Loftin. She worked in retail.
She is survived by her father, Morgan Loftin, Jr., of Lincolnton; two brothers, Rodney Loftin, and wife Bonnie of Lincolnton, and Gerry Loftin, and wife Peggy, of Hickory; a sister, Belinda L. Branson, and husband Michael, of Denver; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church, 1360 Ivey Church Road, Maiden, NC 28650.
