Mr. Henry Lee Helms, Jr. of Lake Wylie, SC and formerly of Mt. Holly, NC passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the age of 85. He was born September 12, 1931 in Camden, SC to the late Henry Lee Helms, Sr. and Annie Gardner Helms. He was retired from the North Carolina ABC Board, a member of Park Street Methodist Church in Belmont, NC and enjoyed traveling and RV camping.

Mr. Helms was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Evelyn Helms and his second wife Lillian Helms. He is survived by his son Ronald Helms and daughter-in-law Donna of Loganville, GA, two daughters, Pamela Helms of Stanley, NC, and Nancy Whitener of Lincolnton, brother Neal Gardner Helms of Charlotte, NC and three nieces.

Services will be held at Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton, NC on Thursday, September 29, 2016 with visitation at 10:00 and service in the chapel at 11:00. Interment will follow at Hollybrook Cemetery in Lincolnton.

Mr. Helms was a proud Navy veteran. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to any Veterans association.
