Mr. Waylon Lee Pitts, age 44, of 3269 Harmon Road in Lincolnton, died on Saturday, October 1, 2016.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2016, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Smith officiating.
Waylon was born December 27, 1971, in Lincoln County, to Walker Laverne Pitts, Jr. and Annette Brown Pitts. He worked as a mechanic for Alray Tire Center.
He is survived by his parents, Walker and Annette Pitts of Lincolnton; a daughter, Kelsey Pitts of Lincolnton; and a sister, Tasha Elmore, and husband Dale, of Lincolnton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Pancreas Foundation, 3 Bethesda Metro Center, Suite 700, Bethesda, MD 20814.
