Obituaries

Edgar Lee Moore, Sr., age 80, of 1615 Green Acres Road, Lincolnton died Friday, October 21, 2016.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 24, 2016 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton with Rev. Jim Schall and Rev. J.V. Allen officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mr. Moore was born on April 30, 1936 and was the son of the late Carl Madison and Ola Liggins Moore.  He was a veteran of the United States Army, a 45 year member of Boger City Wesleyan Church, loved wood working and was retired from Braddington-Young Furniture.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel of the home; one son, Eddie Moore and wife, Tammie of Lincolnton; two daughters, Teresa O’Brien and husband, James of Lincolnton and Elizabeth Rudd of Lincolnton; seven grandchildren and thirteen great- grandchildren.
