Harry Dean Crump

Mr. Harry Dean Crump, age 83, of Lithia Springs Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, October 27, 2016.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 31, 2016, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church with Rev. Rosa Erickson officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, 2016, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Crump was born February 18, 1933, in Mecklenburg County, to the late Harvey and Mamie Rhyne Crump. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Hoyle Crump. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and then later worked as a safety officer for Custom Transport.
He is survived by his daughter, Connie Crump, and husband David Hudson, of Supply, NC; a brother, Paul Crump, and wife Lynn, of Lincolnton; a sister, Brenda Mathis of Newton; two grandsons, Benjamin Williamson, and wife Tonya, of Ft. Mill, SC, and Stephen Williamson, and fiancé Tina, of Conover; one great-grandchild; ten step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 315 N. Cedar Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
