Barbara Jean Winkler Teague

Barbara Jean Winkler Teague, age 49, of Mountain View Lane in Maiden, died on Friday, December 9, 2016.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2016, at Friendly Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 3:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Barbara Jean was born January 11, 1967, in Mecklenburg County, to Ruth Pope Walters and the late Leroy Augusta Winkler, Jr. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Teague. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Ashley Hunt and Kirby Callahan, both of Maiden; her mother, Ruth Walters of Maiden; one brother, Roy Winkler of Charlotte; two sisters, Debbie Hatchcock of Charlotte and Tammy Pasour of Lake Wylie, SC; and six grandchildren, Armiyah Hunt, Jazara Hunt, Cayden Hunt, A’shear Hunt, Cambri Hunt, and Armani Hunt.
