Susan "Anita" Shuford Houser

Susan “Anita” Shuford Houser, age 70 of Long Shoals Road in Lincolnton, died Saturday, January 14, 2017.
Anita was born October 18, 1946 in Lincoln County. She was the daughter of the late Marshall Bennett Shuford and Blanchard Frances Whitesides Shuford. Susan was formerly a floor manager at Wal Mart.
Her funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2016 at Pisgah United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include; husband, Dean Houser of the home; son, Marty Houser and wife Jennipher of Lincolnton, daughter, Nicole H. Avery and husband Chad of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Stacie “Niki” Gilbert, Ty Houser, Trevor Houser and Heather Flynn; two great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
