Malinda Huss Freeman
( July 17, 1940 - February 1, 2017 )
Malinda Huss Freeman, age 76, of Charlotte Square, and formerly of Deal Street in Lincolnton, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Redding officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Freeman was born July 17, 1940, in Lincoln County, to the late Bate and Mary Bridges Huss. She worked as a substitute teacher for the Lincoln County School System. In1958, Malinda was voted Miss Lincoln County.
She is survived by her husband, R.R. “Bob” Freeman, Jr. of Charlotte; a son, Robert Freeman, III of Charlotte; and two grandchildren, Rob Freeman IV and Molly Freeman, both of Charlotte.
