Mary Evelyn Cross Henderson

Mary Evelyn Cross Henderson, age 76, of 853 Cedar Grove Church Road in Vale, died on Wednesday, February 1, 2017.
A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will speak with friends at the graveside.
Mrs. Henderson was born March 10, 1940 in Andrews, NC, to the late Ernest Cross and Merrill Grant Cross Corn. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Harold “Pop” Cross. She worked in textiles.
Mary is survived by her husband, James Henderson, of the home; a sister, Jean Postell, and husband Keith, of Andrews, NC; two half-brothers, Marty Corn and Homer Corn, both of Andrews, NC; two half-sisters, Judy Flowers of Andrews, NC, and Kathy Corn of Colorado; and numerous nieces and nephews.
