Rev. Harry Neal Caldwell

Rev. Harry Neal Caldwell, age 68, of Home Trail in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, February 1, 2017.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 5, 2017, at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Andrew Royals, Rev. Ken Gibson, and Rev. Lanny Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Rev. Caldwell was born January 30, 1949, in Lincoln County, to the late Carl and Edna Bumgarner Caldwell. He proudly served in the United States Army. He pastored three churches during 27 years of ministry.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Proctor Caldwell of the home; a foster son, Ron Wyatt, and wife Mandy, of Thomasville; a brother, Frank Caldwell, and wife Sharon, of Locust Fork, AL; a sister, Evelyn Caldwell of Raleigh; a brother-in-law, Wayne Proctor, and wife Sue, of Cherryville; two grandchildren, Hannah Wyatt and Maddie Wyatt; and several nieces and nephews.
