L. Wayne Davis

L. Wayne Davis, age 71, of Perna Lane in Iron Station, died on Sunday, February 12, 2017.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2017, at Alexis Baptist Church. The family will greet friends following the service.
Mr. Davis was born April 19, 1945, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Verdun Wayne and Lucile Smith Davis. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and then later worked in, and retired from, groundskeeping.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Outhwaite Davis of the home; two sons, Chris Davis, and wife April, of Charlotte, and Spencer Davis, and wife Ivi, of Denver; eight grandchildren, Madi, Creek, Willow, Asher, Bella, Caden, Jimena, and Emma; and two sisters-in-law, Debra Land, and husband Bob, of Hudson, and Joyce Outhwaite of Upper Sandusky, OH.
