Joyce Elaine Kaylor

Joyce Elaine Kaylor, age 72, of Startown Road in Lincolnton, went to her forever home on Monday, February 13, 2017.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2017, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kaylor was born June 6, 1944, in Orange County, Texas, to the late William F. Anderson and Mary Gafford Gunter. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband J.W. Kaylor; a daughter Jodelle White; and a sister Donna Walker. She had various occupations, including CNA, Sheriffs’ Deputy, and was the leader of a Country and Western band called “Startown,” which was a passion of hers.
She is survived by three daughters, Janeen Kaylor, Johnna Kaylor, and Jaquetta King, and husband Patrick, all of Lincolnton; seven grandchildren, Joshua Kaylor, Justin Anthony, Jesse Kaylor, Johnny Anthony, Haley Spivey, Jenna McGhee, and Madison King; and five great-grandchildren, Ezekiel Kaylor, Zoe Kaylor, Julia Grant, Aydin Anthony, and Destin Anthony.
